Matthew Styles will release his first full solo EP on Ostgut Ton this September.

Styles has been actively releasing solo house records since 2007, contributing to labels such as BPitch Control, Running Back and Crosstown Rebels. He has also already been involved with Ostgut on a number of occasions: in 2012, his track “Liquid Sky” featured on Nick Höppner‘s Panorama Bar mix (as well as being selected as one of four exclusive cuts on the vinyl sampler), and he also provided a remix of Dinky‘s “Planes” on last year’s Ostgut Zehn.

Metro is the English musician’s first full EP on the Berghain-affiliated imprint. The three-tracker includes one cosmic disco cut, one beatless number, and one slice of dub techno. Ahead of the release, you can catch Styles spinning at the annual Ostgut label night in Panorama Bar, taking place on August 13.

Metro will be released on September 2. Pre-order it now at the Berghain store.
