Much like she did with one-time roster mate Ital, 100% Silk/Not Not Fun label boss Amanda Brown (a.k.a. LA Vampires) has collaborated with Brooklyn’s Octo Octa on a forthcoming record of classically minded, DIY dance tunes, called Forever 2K (pictured above). The pair of artists just recently let go of two lively snippets from that 12″, a free download of the psychedelic rave cut “Wherever, Boy” and a strange music video (directed by Benjamin Shearn) for the more subdued title track, which you can take a look at after the jump. LA Vampires by Octo Octa’s Forever 2K is out on May 15. (via Stereogum)
