Today, UK DJ/producer Slackk is giving away an exclusive, unreleased jam called “Red Voodoo.” The artist born Paul Lynch has been keeping busy these days co-running the Maybach club night with Altered Natives, Oil Gang, and Tom Lea—not to mention dropping a mix for BBC 1xtra and releasing his latest EP via Local Action. “Red Voodoo” sees Slackk taking a stab at deep, cinematic house rather than his championed grime sound, but we’re sure you can catch him playing a bit of both genres when his free party goes down at Alibi in East London this Saturday, November 24, with headliners like notorious grime MC Chronik and No Hats No Hoods-affiliated DJ Magic.
