Technicolor Barcelona producer Alizzz has just released his newest EP, Collapse, via the Bobby Tank-affiliated MofoHifi label, and we’re offering up a free download of the record’s final, sample-heavy cut “Arista.” The track sees Alizzz working somewhere between post-dubstep, contemporary R&B, and 80s synth-funk, and has a distinct maximalist bent that recalls Rustie in some of his more restrained moments. Combining a liquid bassline with lurching, layered synths, “Arista” is a heady mix of lovelorn R&B and future-funk.
