Dublin-based producer Lasertom doesn’t have many releases to his name yet, but what he does have shows a clear mastery of a sweeping, retro-futuristic Italo sound. “Maelstrom,” a cut from his forthcoming Drift LP, is a slow-building track that moves through several funky layers before settling into a comfortably spacey groove.
