London producer and Perc Trax label head Ali Wells (a.k.a. Perc) has announced the details of his sophomore LP ahead of its release early next year. Entitled The Power and The Glory, Perc’s forthcoming album is said to expand on the ideas presented on Wicker & Steel, his 2011 debut LP, with “rhythmic tracks [that] pulse with more energy and bite than ever before, whilst the [album ‘s] freeform tracks add a melodic and occasionally political edge to Perc’s already expansive repertoire.” No audio previews have surfaced yet for The Power and The Glory, but considering that the album is set to drop on February 17 of next year, there is plenty of time for Perc to tease bits of the record in the months ahead. In the meantime, the forthcoming LP’s artwork and tracklist are included below.
