Following on from releases on Ultramajic and his own Bodytrax and Bodyjack labels, UK DJ and producer Chris Finke (a.k.a. Bodyjack) will return for his first full EP of 2015, Throwdown, to be released via Bodyjack in June.

The EP lands with three cuts each designed to drive different stages of peaktime club sets. The title track melds a big bassline with hard hitting percussion, piano stabs, and an old school-like vocal hook. “All Werk And No Play” features raw, jacking beats, a rolling bassline, and chopped vocals, with the EP rounded out by “Get Raw,” a warehouse-ready banger, with a ridiculously huge low end and razor sharp, skittering percussion.

Throwdown will arrive on Bodyjack on June 1—on vinyl and digital—with EP cut “Get Raw” streaming in full below.
