Deerhoof is really pulling out the stops for the release of Offend Maggie, which will drop October 7 via Kill Rock Stars. Besides releasing the first single as sheet music, preparing a world tour, and entertaining XLR8R by appearing in an XLR8R TVepisode, the four members of the experimental indie rock outfit are also getting involved with charity.

A percentage of Offend Maggie‘s digital sales will be donated to one of five grassroots organizations, and Deerhoof is asking fans to vote on which one will receive the funds. Email your choice to [email protected] by October 1. The chosen organization will be announced on the album’s release date. Once again folks, that’s October 7. Choose from one of the following:

1. Doctors Without Borders
2. FAIR
3. Peace Action West
4. Z Magazine
5. Why Tuesday?
