Oonse Oonse is a label and collective founded by Xander Seren and Sasha Popovici based in Queens, NY focused on releasing leftfield house and techno.

Oonse Oonse is a part of the experimental publishing platform and collective The Actual School. Xander Seren co-founded The Actual School in 2014 together with writer and musician Nick Scavo and researcher Aaron Dowdy. The Actual School has presented sound pieces at MoMA PS1 and many DIY spaces throughout the city, had a 2-year residency on NTS Radio, and released music and published projects by DeForrest Brown Jr., Shane Parish, John McCowen, and many other multidisciplinary artists. Desc is the alias of Alec Sturgis, a musician and researcher based in Queens, NY. Sturgis is the co-founder of Cairn Desk, a composition front and music label exploring a wholistic approach to the presentation of musical work that does not shy away from demanding new/specific context thru experience. He is also the co-founder and co-organizer of Neo-Pastiche, a critical musical gathering featuring presentations by living American composers and performers whose work comes from outside standard academic or popular music contexts.
