Colombian duo Acid Coco are influenced by the tambores of La Caderona, the tears of sweat dripping from the ceiling in Juanchito, and the rhythms of cumbia, porro, bullerengue and champeta.

Paulo Olarte has been a well-known name in the electronic dance scene for many years. He has released music for labels such as Diynamic Music (Germany), Goldmin Music (France), Galaktika Records (Spain) and many others. In recent years he has collaborated with fellow Colombian expats and musical adventurers as El Dragón Criollo, as well as playing in Los Transatlanticos.

Andrea has sung since she was at school. After that she performed and recorded with Colombian reggae band DonKey Records in 2006 before embarking to Miami and then Berlin, where she has continued to sing in the world fusion band Hinsetzen Pause, and also toured with Los Transatlanticos.

Acid Coco is their first recorded collaboration.
