Yusuf ‘Yoshi’ Misdaq is an Afghan music producer, MC and singer-songwriter all wrapped into one confusing human soul. Let’s not bring up his three novels, poetry books and journalism work, that just makes things even more confusing.

Raised in the UK, Yusuf calls Brighton home, but has spent the last decade traveling, and presently resides in the USA. His influences include Prince, Shabazz Palaces, Cody ChesnuTT, Aphex Twin, Pharaoh Sanders, Liam Gallagher, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Pavarotti and Beethoven. He practices Sufi meditation, and SHEDARK/MIROSA (with run-off single ‘MORENA’) is his 7th release.
