Amsterdam’s Sam Young (real name Juran Jongman) produces an ambitious form of electronic music that came together from styles like breakbeat, d’n’b, and ambient. His compositions are often lengthy, multi-part epics which are composed more like miniature soundtracks than typical club cuts. After releasing multiple tracks on established labels, Sam decided to establish his own imprint with his record label ‘Fussy Music’. Sam strives to push the boundaries of known electronic structures in a soulful and experimental way. Next to this, he will show the world what he is mostly driven by; and that is the trance that music can provoke. When this trance sets in, people can enter a place of pure joy and bliss. That’s exactly the place where he tries to transport you to.

His next project is a mixtape called ‘One Circle Around The Sun With You’. It was made as a celebration of love and it features all the tracks he likes the most. With this mix he hopes to can bring some warmth to the people during these grey covid times.
