I’m a student living near Frankfurt, Germany. Recently I had the chance to work on the score of an experimental art film, which I enjoyed very much. Besides that, I make music under the alias “ich, Merlin”. The submitted track reflects my enthusiasm for the 80s. I draw much inspiration from the era of New Wave, so my aim was to recreate the specific sound from that time. For that I used a modded drummachine, a clone of the legendary Pro-1 and my modular Synthesizer.
