A balancing act between diverse genres, bound together by a distinctive, emotive and rough edged sound. That is what Danny Jeroense a.k.a. CANVAX creates in his small homestudio in Deventer (NL). After his LP Cosmophilia on the Italian YAY label (reviewed by xlr8r august 2016) and a couple of individual tracks on compilations of BassAgenda and Crobot Music it’s finally time for his next solo EP Koortsdroom (Dutch for fever dream) on the Dutch Lo Phi Forms records.

The Koortsdroom EP is exactly that . You probably know what it’s like. Waking up in the middle of the night screaming, with your heart beating in your throat. But are you really awake… or stuck in limbo. You just can’t tell.
