Created during the pandemic, the EP explores different themes of escapism through music.

With his debut release Planetary Secrets toes the line
from nostalgia to fantasy, offering his own take on what it
means to escape reality. He notes It’s rare I start a track
without a theme, whether that would be a childhood
memory or place I want to visit, manifesting an
environment in my head guides the production process”
His intimately personal process gives a cohesive context
to his output. It creates a paradigm between the past and
the present, suspending time for the listeners by
immersing them in their own imaginary world. Now more
than ever, narratives like this provide a vital crutch for
isolated home listeners as well as a departure from the
notion that club music is purely functional and hedonistic.

The aside, Guatemala Dreams, offers the respite of nature presented as a propulsive take on the sound of 90’s rave era. Snapshots of sounds from the literal jungle come to life via a thick barrage of breaks – a subtle nod to the golden era of drum & bass.
