Under the moniker VTX, Toronto based electronic artist/producer Joseph Manzoli anticipates his release of EP titled “To Wake Up In Paradise”. This body of work is inspired by the well-known movie “Annihilation” and includes 5 electrifying tracks which are cleverly synthesized to tremble our eardrums.

Joseph broke his way into the music industry by playing in various projects including Nick Hakim, and Adrianne Lenker, before pursuing his own creative music projects. Alongside his persona VTX, Joseph has recently started a label/collective called No Content (@nocontent.co) with long-time collaborator and friend Jonathan Nellen. No Content has released their various creative projects with collaborators Katie McBride, and Aaron Chartrand (@memory.pig) with plans.

The EP was influenced by “several levels in Annihilation”, including infinite growth, beauty, self destruction, increasing consumption and our planet living conditions, to name a few says, Joseph. This body of work includes artwork from the eccentric artist Aaron Chartrand under his title memory.pig, and transports audiences into a trace of psychedelia – similar to a magician’s illusion.
