DUELS is Los Angeles based duo Jon Marc Winchester and Jordan Williamson. The two long-time friends grew up in North Carolina performing and touring in numerous bands. After transferring to the west coast, they decided to explore new sounds inspired by artists like The 1975, Foals, Empire of the Sun and Future Islands. The duo quickly hit the studio and began to record new material. The result was 10 brand new songs in which DUELS was born. The songs span from upbeat indie rock to emotional, cinematic pieces which would make up their debut album. The band released their first single “Woke My Heart” in August of 2021 to praise from local press and radio outlets. Since then the two have released 6 singles and amassed over 200,000 streams. They have also gained hundreds of followers from around the world. DUELS will release their debut album “Suede Bleu” on August 19, 2022. The album was mastered by Randy Merrill at Sterling Sound who has worked on records with everyone from Harry Styles, Foals, Lady Gaga, Olivia Rodrigo and Paul McCartney.
