Sydney-based Greek artist Aris Hatzidakis (a.k.a. Craün) will release his latest offering, III, via Hush Hush Records on December 28.

Recorded as a musical gift to his daughter, Elektra, III is Hatzidakis’ third release on Hush Hush and his first since the birth of Elektra. It’s an ever-evolving collection of ambient and drone compositions, including recordings of some of Elektra’s first musical instruments, such as bells, chimes, xylophone, shakers, and percussion. III is an immersive listen and one that invites the listener to revel in its intricate details and cinematic moments—a true delight when listened to from start to finish with headphones. 

In support of the release, Hatzidakis has offered up “Uto,” a six-and-a-half minute slice of textural ambience, as today’s XLR8R download, available via WeTransfer below.
