Avian will release the debut record from The Empire Line.

The Empire Line is a new project by Northern Electronics co-founder Varg and Posh Isolation co-founder Christian Stadsgaard. Their forthcoming EP will be their first full release together, following a contribution to Posh Isolation’s recent Devonian Gardens release.

Four-tracker Syndicat de la Couture was recorded at Mayhem, Copenhagen’s experimental performance and rehearsal venue. It pairs two noise recordings with what is described by the label as “more streamlined club fare.” Opening cut “Frangrance Arpege” also features a vocal contribution from Vit Fana (who is a member of experimental synth outfit Body Sculptures alongside Varg).

Syndicat de la Couture will be released on January 23, 2017.
