Nit is a young producer from Paris, France who will release his debut EP, Dessous de Plage in January on Mutant Ninja.
A self-confessed synthesizer obsessive, Nit’s music is an intriguing mix of disco and electro-funk that is directly influenced by library music and French movie soundtracks of the ’70s. Keeping the EP planted in that decade, the cover artwork is a picture of a heatproof mat (‘dessous de plat’) from the ’70s that Nit found in a country house on his journeys.
