Blanck Mass Announces North American Tour Dates and Shares New Remix
North American tour includes dates at Basilica Soundscape, NY, Boston, DC and Philly
Blanck Mass — the solo project of Benjamin John Power of Fuck Buttons’ notoriety — has today announced a string of new U.S & Canadian tour dates and shared the remix of Dumb Flesh lead single “Dead Format” by Scottish electronic duo Dalhous.
Dumb Flesh — released on May 12 on Sacred Bones Records — was written, produced and recorded by Benjamin in a number of different locations over the space of a year. It began life in Fuck Buttons’ ‘Space Mountain’ studio, moved into a windowless attic space in Hatch End, North London, then was finished up at Ben’s new home in Edinburgh. The geographical spread of sessions is reflected in the shifting landscape of the tracks and the ever-changing sound palette used to realize Dumb Flesh as an expansive body of work.
