Having relocated from France to the predominantly French-speaking Canadian music hub that is Montreal in April of last year, Victor BrulĂ© (a.k.a. Foba) and Matthieu Tessier (a.k.a. Matemo) have continued their roles as part of the larger Get Monet production outfit since making their way across the pond. Featured here, “Porcelain” serves as BrulĂ©’s and Tessier’s first ever collaboration solely as a pair; a club-minded track, “Porcelain” is a simple-but-effective affair, one that draws the listener in with its stream of pulsing chords while a revolving series of percussive tricks and a bouncing sub-bassline seem to ensure that one’s feet will keep moving throughout the entirety of the tune’s five-plus-minute run.
