Following last year’s collaborative “Mirror Song” outing, Julio Bashmore and Kowton have again combined efforts, this time taking on the name Ekranoplan for an upcoming EP on Glasgow’s All Caps label. Apparently named after a Soviet aircraft, the Ekranoplan project’s Wing-In-Surface-Effect EP will offer four new productions from the pair of Bristol-based producers, including what appears to be two beatless compositions in “One Metre Up” and “Ground Effect Vehicle.”

Bashmore’s and Kowton’s first EP together as Ekranoplan is set to arrive on October 9 via All Caps; in the meantime, the record can be previewed below. (via Hyponik)
