Following Nostalchic, his 2013 debut full-length for Brainfeeder, UK beatmaker Stuart Howard (a.k.a. Lapalux) has largely remained silent on the release front. Today though, he’s reemerged on the Flying Lotus-helmed label with an ambitious new single, “Movement I, II & III.” As its title suggests, the track is spilt into three parts, with Lapalux’s penchant for slow-brewing beatwork and deeply textured soundscapes heard throughout the seven-minute production, which also incorporates some angelic vocals and astral guitar work into its run.
