Los Angeles-based imprint Halocyan has shared details of a forthcoming label compilation, which will see a digital and double-CD release this fall. The forthcoming Universal Quantifier collects tracks from label affiliates such as xxxy, Paul Woolford, and Raudive (a.k.a. Oliver Ho), and incorporates remixes from the likes of Legowelt, Kangding Ray, and Joey Beltram. According to a press release, the album was “specifically curated to embody the future of techno,” and aims to highlight the element of “techne,” or “human-made craft,” involved in the production of electronic music.

Universal Quantifier is due out on October 14, and until then, Artifact’s “Cry” has been made available to stream in full below, where the compilation’s tracklist can also be found.
