With Nightmares on Wax‘s 25th anniversary compilation, N.O.W. Is the Time, set to drop next week via Warp, Metro Area member Morgan Geist‘s (pictured above) remix for the upcoming collection can now be streamed in full.

In the hands of the veteran Stateside producer, Nightmares on Wax’s “Biofeedback” (a production originally released in 1991) is reshaped into an efficiently potent dancefloor workout. Focusing on the track’s sharp rhythmic elements for the better part of its first half, Geist eventually teases out the tune’s main melody; a crisp bell pattern that bounces along with the remix’s dry snares and restlessly buoyant synth sequences. Geist’s remix can be heard in its entirety below, before being available on the Deep Down: Remixes & Rarities vinyl edition of N.O.W. Is the Time, officially out on June 16.
