Manchester-based DJ and co-founder of the city’s Big People Music club night/record label Madam X has put together a new compilation, Kaizen Movements, which collects a diverse range of tracks from the likes of Murlo, Dark0, Timbah, and Sudamin, among others. Featured here is Mancunian producer Trap Door‘s contribution to the 10-track effort—an airy excursion into forward-leaning club territory, “Chaka” places sharp synth stabs and fine-grain loops atop an imbibing procession of brisk rhythms.
