Debuting on the Numbers label late last year with the “Walk On In” single, Doc Daneeka could not have started his partnership with the Glasgow imprint on a better note. Landing somewhere between a luscious, bottom-heavy club tune and classic filtered house, the fortified roller (a collaborative effort which featured Ratcatcher) made a lasting impression, rendering it one of XLR8R‘s favorite tracks of 2013. Now word has come that Daneeka plans to follow up the success of “Walk On In” with a new 12″ for Numbers, set to drop next month.

The upcoming “Treptow” b/w “Paname” single was first announced today via Numbers’ Facebook page and comes with little details other than its title, release date (June 9), and a small snippet of the record’s a-side cut. While we wait for more details to arrive, a sixteen-second preview of Daneeka’s piano-led “Treptow” production can be heard here.
