Cologne-based producers Marius Bubat and Georg Conrad (a.k.a Coma) have given us the premiere of their video for a song from last year’s In Technicolor LP for Kompakt, an adorable clip directed by Dominique Lucien Garaudel for “Missing Piece.” The video finds a handful of children dancing and playing with colorful confetti, animated paper mache cut-outs, and miniature instruments—appearing to perform Coma’s energizing track with spirited enthusiasm. Garaudel’s work as a whole is a cheerful break away from overwrought and weighty visuals that seem make up a great portion of contemporary music videos, as it emphasizes the light-hearted qualities of the buoyant, synth-filled “Missing Piece.”
