Earlier this month, the hyper-prolific Machinedrum (a.k.a. Travis Stewart) announced plans for a new EP, Fenris District, which will drop on March 24 and include reworks from UK dubstep stalwarts Pinch & Sherwood and Scottish bass monger Rustie (pictured above). Now, a stream of the latter effort has surfaced online. Rustie’s remix of “Back Seat Ho” can be heard at THUMP, who also took the opportunity to engage Machinedrum in a short Q&A session. Stewart, who recently completed some heavy touring behind his Vapor City LP and returned to NYC after a stint in Berlin, discusses his busy schedule, both past and present.
