When we last heard from San Francisco producer Eric Kozak, he was producing tracks as one half of White Girl Lust and helping to run the Solid Bump label, which developed into solid outpost for electro and disco sounds in the late ’00s. Those projects have been dormant for a little while, but Kozak recently re-emerged with a new moniker, AM Version, a new record called For Our Love, and now, this video for EP cut “I Called…Isn’t that Enough?” The trippy clip invokes several ’90s tropes, which is appropriate given that the music itself often channels the soul-drenched techno sounds of early ’90s Detroit. The For Our Love EP is out now via Roam Recordings, includes a remix from Black Catalogue boss Monty Luke, and can be streamed in its entirety below.
