Italian producer and RBMA grad Broke One has self-released a two-track digital single today, for which “Lovefool” serves as the virtual a-side. Living up to its title, the lovey-dovey house tune wraps a series of deep chords around a relaxed procession of shuffling drums. There’s a slight hesitation to the rhythms of “Lovefool”—though that’s what really gives it a proper swing, which in turn gives Broke One’s purple synthscapes and finely executed series of vocal loops the perfect bed to rest atop. The Italian tunesmith’s new digital single is available to stream and download over on his Bandcamp.
