After debuting a skittish, funk-inflected cut from his upcoming Cubes LP last week, tireless French producer Fulgeance has given us an exclusive stream of that entire album. Out on October 14 via the beatmaker’s own Musique Large label, Cubes employs rich synth shades and rhythms drawn from hip-hop, disco, and funk. Suffusing life into his machines with the solemn pads and jazz percussion of opener “Neverending,” or the glitch discotheque sound of “Chocolat Orange,” Fulgeance demonstrates his power to forge deep grooves from unfeeling gadgetry.
