Back in July, longstanding Chicago house DJ/producer Tevo Howard announced a forthcoming album under the name Sequence Report. Now, with less than a week left until that record drops, Howard has made the upcoming Secromance LP available to stream in full. Under his own name, Howard is mostly known for cooking up quality house tunes sprinkled with old-school flavor, but as Sequence Report, Howard is fixated on a cold electro sound full of vocoders, Kraftwerk-ian melodies, and long lines of synth arpeggios. As it turns out, the style fits Howard well, and XLR8R readers can hear it for themselves via the player below, where Sequence Report’s full LP can be streamed before it’s officially released tomorrow via the producer’s eponymous Tevo Howard Recordings label.
