After following Russian techno queen Nina Kraviz and tagging along with Motor City Drum Ensemble, Resdient Advisor‘s behind-the-scenes mini-doc series, Between the Beats, catches up with Bronx-bred duo The Martinez Brothers in its lastest edition. Beginning with the brotherly duo of Chris and Steve Martinez in their hometown neighborhood, the 15-minute clip follows them on a number of DJ gigs from Chicago to MoMA PS1 in New York, ultimately winding up in their adopted home of Ibiza. Along the way, the Martinez brothers discuss their rise from playing percussion in local church bands to DJing around the globe, and their father talks about how he helped his two sons get their first break.
