Genre-jumping NYC DJ/producer Physical Therapy (a.k.a. Daniel Fisher) has announced the details of a forthcoming EP for Sinden‘s Grizzly label, called whitelabel. The new release will follow last year’s Safety Net EP for Hippos in Tanks, which found the eclectic artist exploring a giddy realm somewhere between drum & bass and 2-step. whitelabel is said to be indicative of an increasingly techno-influenced approach for Physical Therapy, and our first taste of the release, the titular “whitelabel,” has been described by Fisher on Twitter as a “jock jam,” fusing relentless kicks and hi-hats with sugar-rush synths.
