Here, “Jam The Network,” a cut pulled from Hyetal‘s just-released Modern Worship album, is treated to a music video by experimental video-production duo The Great Nordic Sword Fights. The computer-animated clip quickly slips into its comically nonsensical narrative, which can perhaps be summarized as the final race between two rivals in a psychedelic racing video game released circa 1996. Somehow, the strangely endearing video manages to keep up with the tune’s often breakneck pace, complementing its frenetic moments with a string of glitched-out washes of color.
