Propellerhead, the company behind the popular Reason production software, has announced the release of a new polyphonic synthesizer app for the iPad. Called Thor, the new app is said to be—according to the tutorial video below—a “god-like, semi-modular, beast of a synth,” though it looks more like Propellerhead has found a way to compress all that it has learned building synths for Reason over the years into one powerful, single-device app. Thor features six different oscillator types, four unique filters, a host of FXs, and a step sequencer.
