Last week’s edition of Press Play featured—among a number of other things—the latest single from Aus/Simple label boss Will Saul (a.k.a. Close), “Beam Me Up.” Featuring vocalist Charlene Soraia and the always intriguing Scuba, the fresh tune also appeared with a remix from Hotflush affiliate George FitzGerald last week, and is joined today by Scuba’s own “Dub of Doom” version. The tech-y production is set to appear alongside remixes from George FitzGerald and Hercules & Love Affair as part of Close’s first single from the upcoming Getting Closer LP. Before !K7 drops the four-track “Beam Me Up” 12″ on April 22, Scuba’s version of the tune can be streamed below.
