Seemingly out of nowhere, the soft-spoken UK producer known as Gold Panda announced that you can buy his latest EP, called Trust, as well as stream the four-track record, today. Released via Ghostly and the artist’s own Notown label, Gold Panda’s new record arrives just over two years from his solid debut LP, Lucky Shiner, and a year or so from his contribution to K7!‘s DJ-Kicks mix series. Speaking on his Trust EP, Gold Panda said, “The inspiration [for this record] was just getting away from computers/laptops, [which] made my arrangements a bit more free and natural, I think. Just jamming and looking out my window… I think these tracks and the tracks for the new album have more space, but don’t feel empty.” So, not only can you listen to the Trust EP over on Gold Panda’s website, here, but you can also rest assured that Lucky Shiner‘s follow up is well on its way.
