Though the fine folks at Moog Music already had a top-notch piece of iOS software in the original Animoog (and even made some smart updates to it, as well), they’ve apparently already bested themselves with Animoog V2, a “ground-up rewrite” of the original Animoog. Loads of extra bits have been added to the excellent iPad tool—including what’s called the “accelerometer integration,” which basically allows you to modulate your sounds by simply tilting the iPad, as well as options like note hold, scale lock, Audiocopy/Audiopaste integration, and more. Animoog V2 is a free update for those with the original app, though it’s also currently available for the special holiday price of $14.99 in the App Store. And as an added bonus, Moog is giving existing users the chance to score the 4 Track Recorder capabilities for absolutely free until December 31.
