While bit-crushed found footage and spiralling assemblages of decades-old video are no new sights in the realm of music videos, this collage (or, according to its creator, “video mulch”) put together by Luke Wyatt is appropriately fitting for the synth-obsessed exploratins of Brooklyn trio Forma. Taken from the outfit’s recent Off/On LP for Spectrm Spools (an imprint we recently highlighted in our Labels We Like list), “Off” is a proper introduction to the heavenly, quasi-new age tracks Forma does so well—and now with an appropriately psychedelic video to boot. Off/On officially drops in vinyl form next week, and to celebrate, Forma will headline its release party at Brooklyn’s Body Actualized Center on Monday, December 3.
