Though the name may suggest a single entity, Sly One is a dynamic trio of house producers hailing from Bristol. Despite a lack of releases, the group has been making headway as residents at the Fiftyone 27 parties that take place in the heart of Bristol every week. “Beats Like Them” showcases the production outfit’s fresh, collective sound with a chopped-up vocal hook ripped from Tupac’s “I’m Losing It,” smooth and punchy drums, and eerie synths, a concoction that’s sure to keep any warehouse party moving.
