Vancouver’s Vincent Parker sent over a cut from his forthcoming album Import Culture. A weightless, staccato melody bubbles to the top of the sonic spectrum while a straightforward bassline acts like a massage chair powered by a mechanical perseverance. Parker layers on a playful shaker rhythm and cosmic textures over the top of it all, further energizing the tune. Import Culture is set to drop on November 6 over on Parker’s Bandcamp, but you can stream a preview of the album before then, after the jump.
