As part of an interview on Ableton Live‘s website, Berlin-based artist Machinedrum shares his process behind the making of Room(s) cut “Sacred Frequency,” and gives away the song’s complete Live session to further illuminate the details of his production practice. Like we discovered in our recent In the Studio interview with producer Travis Stewart, much of his studio revolves solely around the computer, so it’s safe to say that getting a glance at the man’s Ableton session is about as close to “behind-the-scenes” as one can get with Machinedrum. You can read the entire interview and download the “Sacred Frequency” set here; in case you’ve forgotten what the tune sounds like to begin with, we’ve gone ahead and provided a stream of it below.
