Monokle has announced that his fifth record, called Saints, is set to be released on November 5 via Cologne imprint Ki. The St. Petersburg producer born Vlad Kudryavtsev, whom we included in our recent feature on the Russian underground electronic music scene, says in a press release that he “takes his inspiration from silence.” In some ways, this is reflected in the pristine clarity and consistent energy of his music, as heard on Saints‘ lead cut “Holt Found,” an ambient-inspired and drone-heavy track. Monokle’s LP will be available on digital, CD, and vinyl formats, the latter of which will offer three remixes by producers Fybe:one, WOLS, and Milinal.
