Montreal producer Jacques Greene just released his newest offering, the XLR8R Pick’dReady EP, via Martyn’s 3024 label on Monday, and now, a video has appeared for the opening title track. “Ready” is accompanied by lightning fast time-lapse visuals of landmarks from around NYC (you can catch glimpses of the Roosevelt Island tram and Union Square, among other places), which twist and morph almost kaleidoscopically as the garage-slanted techno (or is that techno-slanted garage?) sounds chug forward. (Update: Word has it that this piece is an unofficial fan video, but we think it’s a decent watch all the same.)
