Hiawatha is a brand-new production duo helmed by Canadian Night Slugs affiliate Egyptrixx and Ian McGettigan of ’90s rock outfit Thrush Hermit, whose debut full-length is set to arrive on September 25 via Last Gang. Speaking on his new project’s LP, Egyptrixx says, “From our perspective, Language is a dichotomous record—an exploration of pessimism and optimism; success and failure; concussion and tranquility. This album is a friendly nod to every empty promise of a happy ending.” You can check out the first single to surface from Language, the noisy and excellently titled “Caring Less and Less to See and Know You,” and take a look at the artwork and tracklist for Hiwatha’s record, below.
