Canadian tropical-bass producer Poirier is set to drop a new EP for Man Recordings later this month, a four-song dancehall record titled Alert Riddim. On the EP, Poirier enlists the help of three artists to vocalize over his slick and bouncy riddim. First, Natalie Storm delivers “Gal U Good,” which is followed by MC Zulu‘s “Call Red Alert.” The EP’s final vocalist is Face-T, a frequent Poirier collaborator, who rounds out Alert Riddim with “The Realness.” The original instrumental version of “Alert Riddim” is also included on the EP, which is set to drop on June 22.
