Ten Thousand Yen label head Doc Daneeka has announced a new release on the Roska Kicks & Snares imprint, the Murdah Strings EP (artwork above). Following his work for 50 Weapons and Ramp, the Berlin-based Welsh producer will drop this new three-tracker on June 11 via RKS. Anticipation is already high for this heavy and humid house number, which recalls the glory days of UK funky while employing Bernard Herrmann-esque strings. The EP will also include a Funkystepz remix of the title track along with another Doc Daneeka original, “Babylon’s Burning.” A streaming preview of the release is below.
